We can install your new split system

We make it easy to install your new split system air conditioner. Just purchase your system from our wide range and we'll arrange for a licensed installer to come to you.

The service

Whats included:

Installation of Split System Air Conditioning (standard back-to-back install*)

  • Compliance Certification (VIC & ACT mandatory)
  • Weatherproof Safety Isolation Switch mounted near outdoor unit.

Standard inclusions vary for a single storey and a double storey installation. 

Single storey inclusions:

  • This offer is available for residential properties only.
  • Up to 3m of PVC ducting concealing pipework and electrical connections.
  • Up to 3m of pipework between the head unit and outdoor compressor unit.
  • Up to 20m of internal roof cable.

Double storey inclusions:

  • This offer is available for residential properties only.
  • Up to 5m of PVC ducting concealing pipework and electrical connections.
  • Up to 5m of pipework between the head unit and outdoor compressor unit.
  • Up to 20m of internal roof cable.
*Back-to-back installations refers to the wall unit with the pipework that runs through the 
external wall and straight down to the outdoor unit on the other side of the internal unit wall.

How it works

    Select your new air conditioner at your local Bunnings store

  2. 2

    Arrange payment for the installation at the Special Orders desk

  3. 3

    A licensed trade will contact you to arrange a suitable date and time to complete the installation

  4. 4

    On-site installation will only take place with the homeowner or their nominated representative* present

    *nominated representative must be 18 years old
  5. 5

    Your store will contact you to confirm installation and to provide you with your invoice
