The Round File’s 5/32” (4mm) size is suitable for use with 3/8LP chains. It’s for sharpening the cutter links on a chainsaw chain. Use the Flat File to reduce the depth gauge’s height so it matches the cutter link. The File Guide keeps the Round File at a consistent depth for sharpening each cutter. Place the Depth Gauge in front of the cutting teeth to control the depth to which they are filed. The File Handle provides a secure and comfortable grip for the Flat File.
