At Purple Line Australia, we stand by the quality and suitability of our products. If you encounter an issue, we're here to help.
Our Policy for Faulty Items or Items Not Fit for Purpose:
If you receive an item that is faulty or not fit for the purpose for which it was sold, please contact our customer service team via email within 14 days of receiving your order. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.
Under Australian Consumer Law, goods must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose they were intended for. If an item doesn't meet these standards, you are entitled to a remedy. Depending on the situation, we will offer one of the following:
• Replacement: We will ship you a replacement item as quickly as possible (subject to availability).
• Repair: We may arrange for the item to be repaired in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty.
• Refund: If a replacement or repair is not possible, or if you prefer, we will provide a full refund, including any applicable shipping costs.
We may require you to provide photographic evidence of the fault or why the item is not fit for its intended purpose to assist with our assessment. We will also provide instructions on how to return the item to us, and we will cover the return shipping costs in these cases.
Exclusions:
Please note that our policy does not cover issues arising from misuse, accidental damage caused by you, or normal wear and tear.
How to Initiate a Return:
1. Please provide your order number and detailed information about the fault or why you believe the item is not fit for its intended purpose.
2. Return Instructions: Our customer service team will provide you with specific return instructions, including the return address and any necessary documentation.
3. Packaging: Please ensure the item(s) are securely packaged to prevent further damage during transit. We recommend using the original packaging if possible.
4. Shipping: We will provide instructions and cover the return shipping costs for items that are deemed faulty or not fit for purpose.
Assessment of Returned Goods:
Once we receive your returned item(s), our team will assess the issue to determine if the item is faulty or not fit for its intended purpose.
Consumer Guarantees:
Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which provides guarantees that cannot be excluded. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
