An aquatic, bulbous perennial fro Southern Brazil producing narrow pleated or palm-like leaves to 30cm high. Glossy yellow orchid-like flowers are produced in abundance on multi-branched stems approximately 40cm high, from late spring and throughout the summer months. Suitable for the edges of water features or boggy areas in the garden. Water plants create the perfect environment for frogs and fish, providing them with shelter whilst oxygenating the water.
