A vigorous perennial herb producing two types of foliage. In spring-summer taller strap-like leaves grow to 60cm and produce bright yellow buttercup-like flowers. In winter the emergent leaves die down and are replaced with 5cm rounded bronze-green leaves that will happily grow fully submerged. Water plants create the perfect environment for frogs and fish, providing them with shelter whilst oxygenating the water.
