500W motor means great performance with less energy consumption, and the Vortex Impeller works by the impeller spinning in an area completely outside of the liquid flow path. The spinning creates a vortex (similar to that found in a toilet bowl when it is flushed or a tornado). As the impeller is not in the flow path of the water, the pump is ideal for handling liquids that contain long stringy solids, large diameter solids, slurries or a combination of all of these without plugging up. In brief, whatever goes into the pump suction will be pumped out as long as the solids are smaller than the discharge connection.
This pump also features a stainless steel housing for added rust resistance, multiple hose adaptors for added versatility and an iron cast base that allows for great functionality while increasing user safety and added durability.
