To our founders, who grew up in France, cooking was a ritual—from collecting the fresh vegetable in the garden, to preparing the meals, to sitting around the table with our family and savouring a well cooked meal; it was an experience in which everyone could partake. Inspired by our early years in France, we want to bring the simplicity of preparing a delicious meal, to match with the premium quality of our products that adds an elegant feel to any kitchen design or concept.
The Lecavist wine cooling range was born out of a Frenchman’s passion for wine and the desire to provide every home with the ideal cellar conditions for their wine. Offering a range of capacities, from slim and compact fridges for small apartments, to larger-sized cabinets for serious collectors, there’s a Lecavist wine fridge for every household. The Lecavist range is inspired by underground cellars found in traditional French homes. This cool and humid environment is ideal for wine as it allows the flavours and aromas to develop over time. However, in a hot and sunny country like Australia, a wine cellar is difficult to build and maintain. Thankfully, Lecavist’s refrigeration technology provides Australian homes with precise cooling and protective features to enhance the wine drinking experience.
