This device controls your garage door opener through a pair of low-voltage wires and can be installed in the same way as a wired push button wall switch. Please refer to the user manual for your garage door opener to check that it has suitable terminals. The garage door status is monitored through magnetic contact sensors, which are suitable for both roller and sectional garage doors.

For safety, this product should only be installed on motors that have an obstruction detection system such as infrared beam sensors, as described in AS/NZS 60335.2.95:2020. If your garage door opener does not have these sensors, they may be available as an accessory from the manufacturer.
