This large serving bowl features a unique, textured red finish with a black reeded pattern inlayed in the earliest stages of production that creates a touchable, 3-dimensional effect after the final glaze is applied. The bowl has a deeper dished shape and is made from lightweight, reinforced Mino-Yaki ceramic in Gifu prefecture. It is best for sharing dishes around the table, or for storing and displaying fruits or sweets, especially on special occasions.
