This large serving bowl features a deeper dished shape and glossy white porcelein finish with ‘Tokusa’ (Reeds) reaching from the middle, and soft blue points around the trim of the bowl. The design is inlayed at the earliest stages of production, creating a touchable, 3-dimensional effect after the final finishing is applied. The bowl is made from a lightweight, reinforced Mino-Yaki ceramic in Gifu prefecture, it is best for sharing dishes around the table, or for storing and displaying fruits or sweets, especially on special occasions.
