Return Policy
1. Warranties and Returns
1.1 Goods delivered may be returned for a refund, exchange, or replacement within 30 days, provided they are returned unused, in a saleable condition, and in their original packaging.
Certain large or bulky items may be subject to a restocking fee for change-of-mind returns only. Restocking fees do not apply to faulty, damaged, incorrect, or Australian Consumer Law claims.
Certain goods cannot be returned for hygiene purposes. Certain goods such as knives must be returned in adequate postal packaging for health and safety reasons. Certain last-in-line or special-to-order goods may also be non-returnable. Any applicable exclusions or product-specific return conditions will be identified on the relevant product listing.
For change-of-mind returns, return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer. For valid claims under Australian Consumer Law, reasonable return shipping costs will be covered where applicable.
1.2 Effective 30 March 2020 and until further notice, products purchased within the following categories will not be eligible for return or refund due to change of mind:
• Rapid Antigen Tests
• Cleaning chemicals
• Disposable food packaging including takeaway cups and cutlery
• Paper towel products, paper napkins and toilet paper
• Cleaning cloths and sponges
• Disposable gloves, masks and PPE items
1.3 If goods are damaged on delivery, please contact us via the Contact Seller link in your Bunnings order confirmation email as soon as reasonably practicable so we can assist with a resolution.
Large goods such as fridges should be visually inspected upon delivery and any delivery damage noted where possible.
If goods are faulty, defective, incorrect, or do not meet the consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, please contact us via the Contact Seller link in your Bunnings order confirmation email. We will assess the issue and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
1.4 Clauses 1.1 to 1.3 do not apply to defects caused by misuse, negligence, failure to follow manufacturer instructions, unauthorised modification, or normal wear and tear. Engineer call-outs and repairs carried out on non-warranty faults or defects may be subject to additional charges.
1.5 Statutory rights for customers placing orders as private consumers for personal, domestic, or household use are not affected.
1.6 To the extent provided by law, goods supplied will:
• Be of acceptable quality
• Match the provided description
• Meet any express warranties
• Be fit for purpose
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights customers may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
