This Mumme chisel is used for general cutting including mild steel, bolts and concrete. It is forged from tough carbon manganese steel. The blade is correctly hardened and tempered. The softer head is designed to mushroom, reducing the likelihood of high velocity chips. The cutting edge is ground to the optimum angle for best performance and durability.
