Vale Neale Daniher

Bunnings extends its heartfelt condolences to Jan and the Daniher family, the broader FightMND team, and all those mourning the passing of Neale Daniher AO.

While many will remember Neale for his contribution to football, his legacy extends far beyond the game. Through FightMND, Neale took the fight up to this insidious disease for so many years, showing extraordinary courage, resilience and determination in the face of immense personal challenge.

What Neale achieved is remarkable, but what he chose to do with that, bringing people together, driving awareness and helping fund world-leading MND research, leaves an incredibly powerful legacy.

Across our team and stores, many of us have supported the Big Freeze, worn the beanie or contributed in some way to the fight against MND. We thank our customers and communities for their ongoing support of the cause Neale championed so passionately.

Today is a moment to reflect on the impact of that movement, and the man behind it.

Rest in peace, Neale. Your legacy lives on.
