Bunnings is expanding its automotive range in stores across Australia and New Zealand, giving customers access to more products and more trusted brands.
Following the successful expansion of the category in 2025, Bunnings is going even bigger with around 30 per cent more space dedicated to automotive across the store network to drive further growth and support a wider mix of customer needs, including car, 4WD, motorhome, marine and cycling products.
Customers will have access to 500 additional automotive products rolling out through March and April, which builds on the 700 already available, taking the total in‑store automotive range to more than 1,200 products. Customers will see a stronger physical presence in stores, for easier navigation and greater convenience, with more bays catering to the wider range and introduction of new brands including Liqui Moly (oils) and WIX Filters (oil filters), complementing existing top brands such as Meguiar’s and Armor All.
Bunnings Managing Director, Mike Schneider, said: “We have responded to strong demand from customers by expanding our automotive offer and creating a more convenient in-store experience. “There are more than 25 million registered vehicles across Australia and New Zealand, and expanding our automotive range helps us to better serve customers.
“It's not just about car enthusiasts and owners, customers can access a broad range of products to clean, maintain, repair and support their cars, 4WDs, motorhomes, boats and bicycles, while benefiting from the convenience of our long opening hours and extensive store network. We thank our suppliers for coming on the journey through our automotive expansion and helping to ensure customers have access to an even wider range at the lowest prices.”
New and expanded products include 4WD accessories such as towing and recovery gear, lighting and car technology, as well as marine‑relevant items available through the automotive aisle, like boat wash and marine oil.
Bunnings has also introduced a cycling accessories range, focused on convenience, safety and everyday needs. The range includes items such as replacement tubes, lights and locks. Beyond the in‑store range, customers can access more than 30,000 automotive products online through Bunnings Marketplace, significantly extending choice beyond what is available in store. This includes a wide variety of items such as oil filters and specialist components, providing customers with greater flexibility and access to a broader automotive offer.
The automotive range expansion applies to more than 300 Bunnings stores across Australia and New Zealand.
