Bunnings’ response to NSW Government announcement on protection for retail workers

We welcome the NSW Government’s announcement to consult on stronger protections for retail workers through the introduction of Workplace Protection Orders.

No team member should experience violence or threats at work.

WPOs would provide an important tool to help prevent repeat offenders from returning to stores.

Stronger protections send a clear message that violence and abuse in retail settings will not be tolerated, and we look forward to contributing to the consultation process.
