Bunnings will officially open the doors to its brand-new Sale warehouse in Victoria on Saturday 7 March, 2026; bringing both retail and commercial offerings to the state’s east.

Located at 13 Cobains Road, it spans more than 12,000 square metres and has been designed to support local DIYers, tradies and commercial customers, with a wide range of products at the lowest prices. The hybrid-format combines Bunnings’ retail offer with expanded commercial services, including bulk ordering and delivery across the Gippsland catchment.

The opening of the warehouse has created 37 new local jobs, with the existing 78 team members from the current Sale Warehouse joining together at the new site.

Bunnings Sale Complex Manager Tim Braiser said the team was proud to be opening a space that reflects the needs of the local community.

“We’re really excited to be opening the new Bunnings Sale. The store has been created to provide both commercial and retail customers with an enhanced shopping experience, whether they are grabbing supplies for a simple task or embarking on a larger project.

“In the lead‑up to opening, our team has enjoyed working closely with local community groups including Wurruk Community House, Hyland Community Kindergarten and Warrigunya, helping to strengthen connections and give back to the community that supports us,” Tim said.

Local customers will be supported with seven‑day‑a‑week delivery through Bunnings Local Delivery, alongside extended commercial delivery coverage across most of the Gippsland region.

Sustainability has also been front of mind during construction, with the building incorporating a 140,000‑litre rainwater storage system supplying the nursery and toilets, high‑efficiency HVAC systems, LED lighting throughout, increased roof and facade insulation, and a 200kW rooftop solar system.

To celebrate the opening of the new warehouse, Bunnings Sale will be hosting the public on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 March, featuring family-friendly entertainment, activities and giveaways.
