Tropaeolum majus - NASTURTIUM MILKMAID Soft and subtle ‘creamy’ flowers on trailing plants which are remarkably easy to grow, even in poor soil. Use to climb up a trellis or as a ground cover. Flower petals and leaves can be used in salads and for garnish.

A native of South America, from Columbia to Bolivia, Nasturtium was introduced to Europe from Peru, possibly by the Spanish Conquistadors. Named by Linneaus it derives from the Greek ‘tropaion’ meaning trophy.
