About the Workplace

When considering joining our team, it's important you're aware of your own abilities and feel confident managing the demands of the role.

Working within one of our sites may involve:

  • Standing and walking, while moving stock and assisting customers throughout the store.
  • Replenishing stock, which includes pushing and pulling cages and trolleys, reaching, squatting, and bending when handling products.
  • Using of safety steps, stairs, or kneeling or squatting when accessing stock on our shelves.
  • Team members will regularly lift or carry items weighing up to 16 kilograms independently.
  • Heavier or awkward items are managed using team lifting techniques with another team member or the appropriate equipment such as a pallet jack or forklift.
  • Safety shoes are mandatory, and appropriate personal protective equipment is required to be worn as part of the uniform.
