James Group Shipping Policy

At James', we strive to ensure a seamless and efficient delivery experience for our customers across Australia. This policy outlines our shipping procedures, timelines, and costs to provide transparency and set clear expectations.

1. Shipping Coverage
We deliver to all states and territories within Australia, including metro, regional, and remote areas. Please note that delivery times and costs may vary depending on your location.

2. Delivery Options
We offer the following delivery services:
Standard Delivery: Available nationwide for all orders.
Bulk Freight: For large orders, including pallets and container-sized shipments, we use specialized freight services.

3. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are determined based on the following factors:
Order size and weight;
Delivery location (metro, regional, or remote);
Delivery method (standard or express).

4. Estimated Delivery Times
Our standard delivery times are as follows:
VIC/NSW/SA Metro Areas: 1–2 business days.
VIC/NSW/SA Regional Areas: 3-4 business days
QLD/TAS Metro Areas: 3-4 business days
QLD/TAS Regional Areas: 5–7 business days.
WA/NT Metro Areas: 5-7 Business days
WA/NT Regional Areas: 7-9 Business days
These timeframes are estimates and may vary due to external factors such as weather, public holidays, or unforeseen courier delays.

5. Order Processing Times
Orders placed before 1 PM (AEST) on business days will be processed the same day.
Orders placed after 1 PM (AEST) or on weekends/public holidays will be processed the next business day.
For bulk or custom orders, additional processing time may be required. We will notify you of the expected timeline during the order confirmation process.

6. Delivery Process
Tracking: Once your order is shipped, you will receive a tracking number to monitor your delivery status.
Delivery Confirmation: For security, most deliveries require a signature upon receipt. If no one is available at the delivery address, the courier may leave a collection card or arrange a re-delivery.
Authority to Leave (ATL): If you prefer, you can authorize the courier to leave the package at a designated safe location. Please note that ATL orders are at the customer’s risk.

7. Freight for Bulk Orders
For large-scale or commercial orders:
Freight will be arranged via reputable logistics partners.
Delivery times and costs will be quoted based on the order size, weight, and destination.
Our team will assist in coordinating unloading equipment (e.g., forklifts) if required.

8. Remote Area Deliveries
We are committed to serving all areas of Australia. However, delivery to remote or hard-to-reach locations may incur additional charges and extended timeframes. Our team will contact you if any adjustments are necessary.

9. Shipping Restrictions
We cannot deliver to:
P.O. boxes or parcel lockers (due to product size and weight).
Restricted areas where couriers are unable to operate.

10. Damaged or Missing Shipments
If your shipment arrives damaged or incomplete:
Notify our customer service team within 48 hours of delivery.
Provide photographs of the damaged items or packaging (if applicable).
We will work with the courier to resolve the issue and arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.

At James', we are committed to providing high-quality products and outstanding customer service. This returns policy outlines your rights and obligations under Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and our store-specific procedures to ensure a smooth experience.

1. Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if a product:
Has a major fault or defect;
Is unsafe or does not match its description;
Fails to perform as promised or is not of acceptable quality.
We are not required to provide a refund or replacement for a change of mind, but we will work with you to find a solution wherever possible.

2. Conditions for Returns
To be eligible for a return, please ensure the following:
The product was purchased directly from James'.
The return request is made within 30 days of purchase.
You provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, tax invoice, or other valid documentation).

3. Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your product arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please:
Contact our customer service team immediately via the contact seller link in your Bunnings order confirmation email.
Provide photographs or evidence of the fault or damage, if applicable.
We will arrange an inspection or assessment to verify the issue.
If the claim is valid, we will offer:
A replacement product;
A full refund, including any associated shipping costs;
Repair options (for applicable items).

4. Change of Mind Policy
While not required by law, we understand circumstances can change. Returns for a change of mind will be considered on a case-by-case basis and must meet the following criteria:
The product is unused, in original condition, and in its original packaging.
The return is requested within 7 days of purchase.
Please note: Custom or special-order products are non-returnable for change of mind.

5. Return Process
To initiate a return:
Contact the team.
Provide your purchase details and the reason for the return.
Await authorization and follow the instructions provided for returning the item.

6. Refunds
Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.
Refunds may take up to 10 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.

7. Exclusions
The following are not covered under our returns policy:
Wear and tear, misuse, or improper installation;
Products without proof of purchase;
Products damaged due to external factors (e.g., power surges, accidents).

8. Manufacturer Warranties
