Help reduce double storey construction costs where two big cost-drivers are structural beams and scaffolding. Using HardieTex instead of rendered masonry can help significantly reduce costs. Manufactured by James Hardie for 20 years +, HardieTex is a 7.5mm thick pre-primed base sheet recessed on long edges to facilitate the construction of concealed joints. HardieTex base sheets require finishing in a specialised texture coat system that incorporates jointing reinforcement and a texture coat.
