At Bunnings, we're always looking to provide our customers with the best service.

Our product reviews capture authentic feedback from our customers across our widest range, allowing customers to make an informed decision on products for their D.I.Y. projects. We show a star rating and the written review of the product (both positive and negative), and with hundreds of reviews being added every month across our range, we’ll help you select the right product for your needs.

Product review exampleHow do we collect our product reviews?

After a purchase is made on our website, customers will be sent an email asking for feedback on their recent purchase.

Customers are asked to provide a star rating out of five and a written review before verifying their email address and submitting the review.

Once the review is approved by our team, the customer will receive an email to say their review has been posted to the website.

Customers can also leave reviews on products they purchase instore by finding the product page on our website and clicking the Write a review button under Ratings & Reviews to load the feedback form.

How are reviews moderated?

All reviews go through a moderation process before they are displayed on our website to ensure they are relevant to the product that has been purchased and free of any offensive or inappropriate comments.

Before a review can be published, you're required to verify your email address. Your review is then checked to make sure it adheres to our guidelines, after which it will be published. Where a review does not meet our guidelines, you'll be notified that your review can't be published.

Occasionally we might leave a response on a review with a suggestion or resolution. You will then be able to leave a second review, as long as it has new/valuable information to help other customers.

Why can’t my review be published?

Your review may not be published if it doesn’t meet our guidelines. Common reasons include:

  • profanity or generally inappropriate material
  • mentions of competitors or price
  • includes names or other personally identifiable information
  • mentions details of customer service interactions
  • lack of information, off topic or not relevant to the product being reviewed.

If your review was not published and you believe this to be incorrect, let us know by emailing ProductReviews_AU@bunnings.com.au.

What are ‘Ratings-Only Reviews’?

A “Ratings-only” review consists of only a star rating, without any written review or comment. To make sure we collect reviews with useful content for our customers to share, there is now a minimum character limit on the Review form.

Where can I provide feedback that’s not related to a product?

We welcome feedback on improving our service, our range and our stores.
