Defect:

The affected product’s lithium-ion battery may overheat and ignite if charged in hot weather or direct sunlight and catch fire.

Hazard:

Risk of serious injury or death and property damage if the cleaner ignites and causes a fire. Incidents of the cleaner catching fire while charging have occurred.

What should I do?

1. Stop using the robotic pool cleaner immediately. Unplug it and place it in a cool place.
2. Call the True Blue Customer Service number to arrange for a courier to collect the robotic pool cleaner, free of charge.
- You will need to provide your details, contact information, including the serial number of the robotic pool cleaner (available under the hood).
- Once the robotic pool cleaner has been collected, the courier will provide you with a receipt and you will be contacted by Bunnings, who will arrange the payment of a full refund.

Fiskars 16 Foot (4.9m) Chain Drive Extendable Pole Saw & Pruner Model 9463

Date Sold: 1 January 2017 and 10 December 2020.

Defect:

The telescoping poles of the Pole Saw & Pruner can become unsecured and/or separate, causing the poles to come apart, fall down and the saw blade and pruner head to drop.

Hazard:

If the poles come apart and fall down while the product is in use and the saw blade and pruner head drop, this poses a risk of a serious injury to the user.

What should I do?

Consumers should immediately stop using the Pole Saw & Pruner and return the product to their nearest Bunnings for a refund.

Defect:

The base seal of the oil filter may prevent the thread from screwing on properly and cause the oil filter to loosen or come off while the vehicle is being driven, causing oil to spill out of the engine. This can happen even when the filter has been fitted correctly, and it can happen without any warning to the driver.

Hazard:

Risk of death, serious injury or property damage (including to other road users) from an accident if the filter loosens or comes off the engine while the vehicle is being driven. The oil spill from the engine may cause a fire if it comes into contact with the hot engine parts.

What should I do?

1.Stop driving the vehicle immediately if you have the oil filter installed and do not use your vehicle until the oil filter is replaced. If you have not yet fitted the oil filter, do not install it.
2.If the oil filter has been installed in your vehicle, Basco will cover the reasonable costs of having your vehicle inspected and oil filter replaced. Please provide your receipts to Basco when you contact them.
3. If the oil filter has not been installed yet:

• Return the kit to any Bunnings store for a full refund or contact Basco to arrange a free replacement oil filter.

Defect:

The tablet doesn’t comply with Button and coin batteries mandatory standards | ACCC Product Safety.

The packaging is missing warning information about:

1. the dangers of button/coin batteries to children
2. what to do when a person suspects someone has swallowed or placed a button/coin battery inside any part of their body. 

Hazard:

Children are at risk of choking, severe internal burn injuries or death if they swallow or place button or coin batteries inside their bodies. Serious injury can occur in as little as 2 hours and the results can be fatal. In Australia, children have suffered serious injuries or died from swallowing button/coin batteries.

If you suspect a child has swallowed or inserted a button/coin battery:

1. Call Triple Zero (000) if your child is bleeding or having any difficulty breathing.
2. Call the Poisons Information Centre immediately on 13 11 26, available 24 hours a day. They can direct you to an appropriate medical facility.

Early action can save lives. Do not wait for symptoms to develop.

What should I do?

1. Stop using the product immediately and keep out of reach of children.
2. Return the products to a Bunnings store for a replacement product.

What should I do?

1. Stop using the product immediately
2. Return the vacuum cleaner to Bunnings to receive a full refund

Defect:

Repeated bending of the hose tip can cause a hole to form, which can cause the hose to burst.

Hazard:

Risk of serious injuries including lacerations if the hose bursts during use. Incidents causing injury have occurred.

What should I do?

Immediately stop using the Grease Gun. Remove the battery from the gun and any grease from the barrel and return the entire tool to your nearest Makita Factory Service Centre (FSC) for a replacement of the affected parts at no charge.

Vacuum insulated stainless-steel steel food containers available in various colours and sizes.

Only products supplied from July 2009 to December 2022 are affected by this recall. Current stock is not affected.

Defect:

The stopper on affected products does not have a pressure release valve. Pressure may build up inside the container and may cause the stopper beneath the lid to eject forcefully when opened.

Hazard:

Risk of serious injury from impact and lacerations if the affected stopper ejects while in use. Incidents have occurred in the United States resulting in injury, including 3 reports of permanent vision loss after being struck in the eye.

What should I do?

1. Stop using affected products immediately.
2. Check the underside of the stopper to see if it has a pressure relief feature. If the stopper does not have a pressure relief feature on the base, it is an affected product. The stopper is located beneath the stainless-steel lid.
3. Contact Thermos to arrange a replacement stopper (expected to be available by July 2026). Consumers will need to provide their name, contact details, postal address and a photo of the underside of their affected stopper.
4. When replacement stoppers are available, Thermos will ask consumers to safely dispose of the affected stopper and send a replacement stopper for each affected product at no cost, together with installation instructions.
5. Do not use the affected product until the replacement stopper has been installed. Contact Thermos if you have any further questions or require assistance with the recall.

Defect:

The 18m orange extension cord can arc internally if the conductors break resulting in overheating and sparking.

Please note, only the extension cord is being recalled, the Vax Bagged backpack vacuum cleaner unit is not being recalled.

Hazard:

Risk of serious injury from burns or property damage if the extension cord overheats or sparks. Incidents resulting in injury have occurred.

What should I do?

1. Stop using the 18m orange extension cord immediately and remove it from the Vax bagged backpack vacuum.
2. Contact Techtronic Industries for more information and instructions on how to destroy the cord and receive a voucher to purchase a replacement cord.
3. The Vax Bagged backpack vacuum cleaner unit is not being recalled and can be used without the 18m extension cord.
