A combination of waxes and oils that restores worn timber finishes without the need to sand or strip.
PREPARATION
Previously Coated Timber
How to prepare previously coated timber:
Ensure your surface is clean with Feast Watson Floor Clean and allow to dry.
APPLICATION
Ensure your surface is completely dry and free from all dirt, dust, grease, wax and oil.
Using a nylon scouring pad or fine steel wool (000), apply Surface Restore.
Apply in the direction of the grain.
Note: For soft timbers such as pine, apply using a soft cloth.
Allow Surface Restore to penetrate 10 - 20 minutes, and go make yourself a coffee! When you come back, check if the surface is tacky. If so, wipe vigorously with a coarse cloth.
Leave for approximately 5 hours then buff surface with a soft clean cloth.
If you are looking for a more increased level of sheen or glow, repeat the process by using a soft cloth to apply Surface Restore.
MAINTENANCE
Always keep an eye on your timber.
If you feel it needs a rejuvenation, wash with sugar soap and water, or Mineral Turpentine and a scouring pad, then reapply Surface Restore as outlined in the application directions.
