Feast Watson 1L Timber Primer

Feast Watson penetrating wood preserver primes new timber prior to applying stain or varnish. Use on soft, porous timber such as pine to ensure that stains and top coats absorb evenly. Timber Primer has added water repellency and inhibits mould growth so it is perfect for use in damp areas such as bathrooms or exterior timber. *previously known as Fungishield PREPARATION New Timber How to prepare New Timber: Sand timber and remove all sanding dust before coating. Previously Coated Timber How to prepare Previously Coated Timber: Previously coated surfaces needs to be sanded to bare timber. Remember to remove all sanding dust before coating! APPLICATION Ensure your product has been thoroughly stirred before and during application with a flat blade stirrer. Using a brush, roller or spray, apply your first coat. Ensure edges and end grain are fully coated. A second coat may be necessary for porous timbers. Additional coats can be applied wet-on-wet. Leave to dry for 12 hours before overcoating with desired finish.
