Pet popularity

We love pets, and we’re not the only ones. Australia and neighbouring New Zealand have some of the highest rates of pet ownership in the world.

Our comprehensive pet care range can help you give your pets all the love and care they deserve. We’re sharing a list of practical pet essentials – these little things will help your pet feel right at home.

A cosy place to snooze

Start with a safe and comfortable place for your pet to relax and sleep. Outdoors, choose a dog kennel that will look great in your yard while providing your pup a secure place to rest, keeping them sheltered from the elements. For other animals like guinea pigs, rabbits and kittens, select a safe enclosure or secure pen to give them some quality time outside.

Indoors, we have a wide variety of pet bed options to suit the way your dog or cat prefers to snooze – options that also suit your home’s interior style, as well. Plush and cosy beds will go down a treat with older animals, while foldable and portable enclosures can help with crate-training young puppies.

A good meal

A good diet is the key to a healthy and happy pet. We have a variety of wet and dry pet food from top brands that you can choose from, including nutrition-considered food for every stage in your dog or cat’s life, from puppy or kitten to adult.

You can also stock up on various treats like dental chews, straps and jerky sticks, which are great for maintaining healthy teeth and can also serve as training treats to reinforce good behaviour.

Essential tools

Keeping your pet’s coat clean and tidy is essential for their health and wellbeing. We have a wide range of grooming tools such as animal shampoos and brushes, so you can help keep long-haired, short-haired or curly fur in tip-top condition. And don’t forget the paws – nail clippers and grinders are ideal for keeping those pet talons trimmed and neat. We also have flea and tick treatments to help keep your pets healthy and pest-free.

Stock up on cat litter or toilet training pads for your new puppy, and consider investing in an automatic pet feeder. We also have cleaning products designed to keep your home fresh and hygienic.

Pet toys and playtime accessories

It's a joy to play with our pets and watch them romp around. We have a wide range of soft toys for snuggling and comforting, plus active toys like dog chews, balls for throwing and rope toys for tug-of-war to keep your pet active.

Tip: Exercising your pet will help keep them entertained and out of mischief.

Cats won’t miss out, either – a scratching post is a kitten must-have that will hopefully save your furniture. You can also engage them further with a cat tower to encourage natural feline behaviour.
