To create the wreath shape, join two pool noodle ends with tape.
Wrap the noodle with neutral-coloured webbing. Begin to wrap around the noodle until you get all the way around the circle. When you make it all the way around, cut off the excess webbing. Add hot glue to secure the end of the webbing to the noodle.
Now it’s time to decorate your wreath. You can use artificial greenery, baubles or dried branches. Use the hot glue gun to attach the decorations to the wreath. While using the gun, be mindful of its hot tip.
Leave the glue to dry before the final step.
The final touch is adding the lights. Weave the wire around the wreath; when you reach the end, be sure to hide the battery pack. (You can attach it to the back with the cloth tape.) Top the wreath off with a big bow!
Add the handle or lollipop stick with another piece of wire. One wire end will need to be hooked through one end of the stick noodle. The other end will need to be weaved through to the middle of the candy. To hold in place, hook the two pieces of wire together. Cover any exposed ends with tape.

Asbestos, lead-based paints and copper chromium arsenic (CCA) treated timber are health hazards you need to look out for when renovating older homes. These substances can easily be disturbed when renovating and exposure to them can cause a range of life-threatening diseases and conditions including cancer. For information on the dangers of asbestos, lead-based paint and CCA treated timber and tips for dealing with these materials contact your local council's Environmental Health Officer or visit our Health & Safety page.
