Clothes hanging on a foldable drying rack outside a house
The laundry room is one of the most utilised rooms in a family home, but unless you're organised it can quickly become one of the messiest. Your local Bunnings has all kinds of laundry organisation products to help take the mess out of your laundry.

Close the door on chaos

Cupboards and extra shelving can swallow up heaps of clutter and keep it neatly stored behind closed doors. Flatpax laundry cupboards give you the choice of several sizes and shapes, so you can easily find one to make the best use of space in your laundry.

Clothes airers that fold neatly away

You can make the most of the available laundry space with a Flatpax drying cabinet. These neat cabinets, when opened, extend to give you a handy 9m of foldaway drying room, above head height and out of the way. Or, the Hills extendable airer sits neatly against the wall of your laundry until needed when it folds out to give a huge 12m of drying space.

Space-saving laundry storage

We all need laundry hampers, but we don't want empty ones blocking up our floorspace. The handy new range of Hills Foldable bamboo hampers fold completely flat, so they're spacious when you need them, space saving when you don't. Laundry hamper

Extra laundry storage made easy

For an easier way to get organised, Ezy storage has a wide range of laundry baskets. They include hanging options so you can easily access the wet laundry at the washing line. They also have handy stackable storage baskets with see-through sides, so you don't have to unstack and unpack them all every time you want to find something.

Health & Safety

Asbestos, lead-based paints and copper chromium arsenic (CCA) treated timber are health hazards you need to look out for when renovating older homes. These substances can easily be disturbed when renovating and exposure to them can cause a range of life-threatening diseases and conditions including cancer. For information on the dangers of asbestos, lead-based paint and CCA treated timber and tips for dealing with these materials contact your local council's Environmental Health Officer or visit our Health & Safety page.

When following our advice in our D.I.Y. videos, make sure you use all equipment, including PPE, safely by following the manufacturer’s instructions.
