Gripping tales

Multi-tools have moved on from being emergency or ‘back-up’ tools when ‘real’ tools weren’t available. Whether you’re on an adrenaline-pumping adventure in the wild or tackling basic repairs at home, the Gerber Dual-Force all-purpose tool is bristling with essentials, from the extreme gripping power of slip-joint, blunt-nosed pliers to a saw, knife, file and centre-axis driver.

Ready for action

Thanks to a tough fabric sheath that can be worn vertically or horizontally, depending on the task and user preference, you can keep this superhero of a tool on hand for when you need it. There are 12 functions in this one feature-packed unit – including wire cutters, ruler and a chisel edge – and you can be sure it will get a lot of action.

A force to be reckoned with

Are you facing a stuck fastener that you need to wrench loose? There's no need to rummage through your toolbox – just reach for your Dual-Force. Its layered construction gives you double the jaw strength, while its extra-large teeth can apply serious torque to knobs and bolt heads alike.

Centre of attention

The Dual-Force’s centre-axis driver lets you turn screws as easily and smoothly as with a conventional screwdriver. It’s fitted with a #2 Phillips head bit, but it will hold any standard 6mm (1/4") driver bit. Additionally, the tool’s two onboard bit holders come pre-loaded with a #1 Phillips head bit and a medium flat-drive bit.

Lock it in

Staying safe is important, which is why the frame lock keeps each tool rigidly secure while folded out for use. Whether you’re slicing rope with the 8.25cm knife blade, driving screws or sawing through timber, you can be sure the Dual-Force will stay solidly locked into the configuration you need.
