Giving a tired room a fresh new look can be as simple as applying a coat of paint and some wall décor. 3M Scotch painter’s tape and 3M Command adhesive strips and hooks are essential tools to help you make your makeover happen easily and efficiently.
A good paint job starts with careful preparation. Clean and dry your surface, and then apply tape around the edges. ScotchBlue Original Painter’s Tape is the ultimate all-rounder, while ScotchBlue Sharp Lines Painter’s Tape uses Edge-Lock Technology to seal out paint. For uneven masonry or timber, opt for Scotch Rough Surface Painter’s Tape, or use Scotch Exterior Surface Painter’s Tape for weather-resistant hold outdoors.
Tip: For best results, press – don’t stretch – the tape in place, and then firmly stick it down with a putty knife. Leave to set for 30-60 minutes before painting.
Brush and roll on your paint before removing the tape. ScotchBlue tape can stay in place for up to 14 days after application without leaving residue, so when you peel it off, you’re left with nothing but impeccable definition.
A great way to bring your personality and style to your home is to hang family photos and artworks. Command picture hanging strips can help.
