Get plans and permits
Make sure you go through the right authorities to obtain plans and permits. This will ensure that they meet basic health, safety, structural, environmental and heritage requirements in line with the local government and Building Code of Australia.
Locate your amenities
It's also important that you locate where all your water and electricity services are to avoid any damage to them or yourself during construction. You may also have to obtain electrical and plumbing approvals.
