To achieve this, we need a 3-piece ball. ; 3-PIECE URETHANE: The core is what ensures the initial speed of the ball and the urethane cover grips the grooves of the club to generate backspin. The Tour 900 ball's Surlyn midlayer serves as the interface between the core and the urethane cover.
