Dakaflash incorporates the reinforced aluminium mesh from Wakaflex with the creped aluminium top sheet and butyl backing from Smartform. Dakaflash is a composite laminate flashing consisting of a creped aluminium top sheet with a fully self-adhesive butyl backing. Embedded into this adhesive is the same aluminium mesh that’s inside Wakaflex, which gives Dakaflash rigidity and support, as well as allowing for a smooth contoured finish on the roof surface. Dakaflash can stretch up to 30% in length and has a two-piece protective HDPE backing. Complies with AS/NZS 2904:1995 ‘Damp Proof Courses and Flashing’ and AS/NZS 4020:2005 ‘Testing of products for use in contact with drinking water’
