This CALFLOW all-round street manifold is a direct replacement for the stock intake manifold on Small Block Chev engines from 1957 to 1995. Crafted from durable cast aluminium with a natural finish, this manifold is engineered for an idle to 5500rpm range, making it ideal for street performance applications. Designed to accommodate square bore 4 barrel carburettors and throttle bodies, it provides smooth and efficient airflow for optimised engine performance. With its versatile compatibility and robust construction, this manifold is an excellent upgrade for enhancing the performance of your classic Chevrolet engine. Suitable for both daily driving and spirited motoring, this manifold offers a reliable and cost-effective solution to unlock your engine's full potential. Calflow intake manifolds are cast from steel moulds, not sand. These permanent steel moulds provide a tighter grain casting, thereby reducing porosity. This type of tooling costs 2-3 times more than conventional sand-cast patterns, but the finished product is worth the additional expense. And because the cores (which form the internal ports and water passages) are mounted in steel instead of sand during the casting process, there is no chance of any core shift, which sometimes go undetected in sand castings.
