All our products are covered by our 60-month warranty from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers any manufacturer defects, with the exceptions of fading or discoloration caused by exposure to chemicals.
This warranty runs for 5-years from the date of receiving your stand.
Please note that the warranty does not cover appliances (e.g. your dryer or washing machine), any 'wear and tear' or damage arising from inappropriate use.
If, during this period, your product suffers from any fault, we will either replace the necessary part or we will exchange it at no cost.
1. Return Conditions -
To be eligible for a return:
Opened Box: We will accept a returned opened box if it is in its original packaging and free from any marks, scratches, or signs of use. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. If needed, we can provide an Australia Post return label; the cost of this label will be deducted from your refund. Once the item is received, it will be inspected to ensure it meets our return criteria for an opened box. If approved, a refund will be processed minus 25% of the original purchase price as the stand can no longer be sold as new and to cover restocking and warehouse handling fees, minus the original shipping fee, and any return label costs.
Unopened Box: We will accept a returned unopened box if it is in its original packaging, has not been opened, and is free from any major damage to the box. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. If needed, we can provide an Australia Post return label; the cost of this label will be deducted from your refund. Once the item is received, it will be inspected to ensure it meets our return criteria for an unopened box. If approved, a refund will be processed minus 10% of the original purchase price to cover restocking and warehouse handling fees, minus the original shipping fee, and any return label costs.
Items must be returned with prior approval to be eligible for a refund.
2. Valid Return Reasons
Doesn’t Fit and Box is Opened: This is an error on your behalf; you may return it under our standard return conditions for an Opened Box.
Doesn’t Fit and Box is Unopened: This is an error on your behalf; you may return it under our standard return conditions for an Unopened Box.
Therefore, it is essential to measure the space where the stand is intended to sit and your appliances correctly using the size chart provided in the product description.
Please note: “Doesn’t Fit” returns are considered customer error and are not the fault of Britec. All associated return costs and deductions apply as outlined above.
3. Why We May Not Accept a Refund
Products showing signs of excess use, damage, or missing original packaging cannot be returned. Also, if the box is heavily damaged, we may refuse a refund.
Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.
4. Exceptions
Damaged or Faulty Product:
If your stand arrives damaged or has a manufacturing defect:
We will replace the item or provide a full refund.
In these cases, Britec will cover the return shipping costs.
If no fault is found after inspection, standard return conditions for an opened box will apply — including customer-covered return shipping, original shipping and the 25% fee.
