Returns due to Change of Mind
Returns due to change of mind may be accepted within 7 days of you receiving the goods. Returned goods must be returned unopen, in their original condition, and include all the original packaging. Returned goods can be exchanged on their return, or a credit applied to the customer’s account for the original cost of the item, excluding shipping and related costs; no refunds will be given. Shipping and handling costs of the exchange item will be at the Buyers expense.
Returns due to Incorrect Item Received
Buyers may return their goods if they don't match the description provided, within 7 days of the items receipt. Contact us and provide a) a full description of the problem, and b) an image of the item clearly indicating the problem. It may be that we can resolve the problem without a return being required.
If the goods received are not what was ordered please do not open the sealed package in which it was sent. Any attempt to use the incorrect item will be deemed to be acceptance by the customer of the item(s) as a satisfactory substitute for the one that was ordered and no further claim can be raised thereafter.
Blue Seas Tackle Co owns the title of any goods shipped with your order that have been dispatched in error.
Returns due to Damage in Transit
On receipt of a package from us you should inspect the package closely before opening it. If damage to the packaging is apparent you should refuse delivery and have the package returned to us by the responsible carrier. On return from the carrier, we will reship the goods to you, at no cost to you.
If that is not possible, any damaged items received must be reported to Blue Seas Tackle Co within 24 hours of you receiving the delivery. You must provide clear images of the item and damage, and a detailed account of what has occurred, as fault may lie with the relevant delivery agent.
Packages that, in our exclusive opinion, appear to have been opened prior to return will be deemed to have been interfered with, any claim fraudulent, and no returns will be recognized.
Returns Procedure
If the Goods are to be returned we will issue a Returns Advice. Please attach details of the Returns Advice, a copy of the original invoice or the original invoice number when you do so. Goods returned without the Advice will not be accepted.
The Customer is responsible for all costs involved in sending any goods back to Blue Seas Tackle Co. Blue Seas Tackle Co is not responsible for any parcel missing in transit on its return back to Blue Seas Tackle Co. Where applicable, refunds of shipping costs for returned goods will be limited to the shipping method specified within the Returns Advice.
On receipt, we will generally process your return within 7 days of receipt of the goods.
Warranty Claim
All goods sold by Blue Seas Tackle Co come with a warranty to be free from any defects or faults. For faulty products, we offer a 30 DAY* REPLACEMENT WARRANTY, from the date you receive your product. (*Some products may have longer Warranty periods.) We do not offer a satisfaction guarantee on any of our products. This Warranty only covers the item(s) sold by Blue Seas Tackle Co and is not transferable.
Goods under warranty cover will be replaced, repaired, or refunded as a store credit as appropriate, and at the sole discretion of Blue Seas Tackle Co. No cash refunds will be provided under any circumstances.
All warranty's are voided if returned product is found in any way to be mishandled, installed incorrectly, modified, tampered, abused, or physically damaged.
If the returned goods are determined by Blue Seas Tackle Co to not be faulty, then all returning shipping fees will be at the customers cost. We will seek the permission from the customer to charge this cost to the customer's credit card where possible. Failing this, the goods will be sent back by Australia Post COD freight collected. Blue Seas Tackle Co also reserves the right to charge the labour cost for examining these goods where no fault was found.
Australian Consumer Law
At all times, the laws applicable under Australian Consumer Law apply. Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
