The Aerpro CBB36F1L 3dBi / 6dBi 477MHz Black Elevated Feed UHF Antenna Kit is compatible with all brands of 477MHz UHF CB Radios in Australia and New Zealand. The kit includes two antenna masts which are interchangeable, giving you the best of both worlds when it comes to UHF communication. The 3dBi mast option provides a total antenna length of 445mm, which is best suited for short range communication in highly built up areas including cities, dense woodlands and mountain regions, as it produces a wider UHF signal which is less likely to be impacted by these obstructions compared to higher gain antennas. While the 6dBi mast option provides a total antenna length of 945mm, which is best suited for medium range communication in various environments such as suburban landscapes, towns and low density woodlands, as the elliptical radiation pattern is more rounded compared to a high gain antenna and radiates further compared to a low gain antenna.
