Constructed of rugged ABS plastic for longer life, the built-in heating plate and insulating foam make it less likely that heat will escape from the brooder. With only 13 watts of power compared to traditional ceramic heat lamps, the brooder can heat 10 to 15 newly hatched chicks and ducklings. Height and angle adjustable - the height can be adjusted with just one screw. The height can be adjusted up to 160 mm and the angle can be adjusted 360 degrees. The square base makes the brooder more stable and less likely to be knocked over.
