Product Description

Tillandsias (air plants) are some of the world's most amazing plants, having developed the ability to absorb most, if not all, of their food and water via small scales on the leaf surface rather than through roots. These are used primarily to secure themselves to their host. Tillandsias tolerate a wide range of conditions and can be grown well in most parts of Australia. The ideal environment is a sheltered position outdoors under partially shaded conditions, avoiding very hot positions and cold draughts. Bright indoors positions near windows are also fine. Tillandsias will need watering or misting in warm weather and should be allowed to almost dry out between waterings.

  • Unique and funky feature item
  • Very low maintenance
  • Can be mounted onto a decorative base
