- Narrow hedging and screens
- Drought tolerant
- Frost tolerant
A very narrow, evergreen tree with a tightly column like shape. It has dark green foliage with a tinge of blue. This low maintenance small tree is very symmetrical and make a great accent plant or, if planted close, a very narrow, dense screen.
It prefers full sun with well drained soil and can tolerate frost and dry periods once established.
The ‘Glauca’ will live by the coast and up in the mountains, pretty much anywhere as long as the soil drains well. Looks good in conifer landscapes, Mediterranean themed gardens or simply to as entrance specimens.
For best results, apply a slow release fertiliser in spring and only prune if required.
