Porta's Rounded Edging Bead is used to finish off the edges of boards, shelving and benchtops. It is also an ideal strapping to cover the butted joints of sheet material such as plywood and cement sheeting. Tasmanian Oak is a strong, stable, and easy-to-work hardwood. The wood's staining properties make it easy to match with other timbers, finishes, and furnishings. Tasmanian oak has a variety of colours, ranging from straw to a light reddish brown. Natural variations in grain, colour and texture are considered species characteristics and are not recognised as defects.
