Australian Flora Koala 360ml Coffee Mug New Bone China Koala Koalas are a tree dwelling marsupial native to eastern Australia. Adults reach about 70cm and weigh around 14kg and have a lifespan of approx. 15 years. They feed on selective gumtrees, consuming around 1.3kg of leaves per day. This diet is relatively poor in nutrients and provides the koala little spare energy, so the animal spends long hours simply sitting or sleeping in tree forks, exposed to the elements but insulated by thick fur.They are solitary animals who are mostly nocturnal.
