I am a fast growing native shrub with broad green leaves with a profusion of the reddest of red bird attracting bottlebrush flower spikes on stiff upright or horizontal stems. I am a great choice for a hedging and screening or as a feature shrub. I can be trimmed to shape and size if desired but will develop a beautiful upright shape unpruned. Hardy and adaptable I happily tolerate light frost and dry conditions while still being a good choice for heavy soils that are occasionally waterlogged. I am a great Australian native plant.
