- I flower in autumn and winter but can spot flower throughout the year
- I attract small, nectar feeding birds and beneficial insects
- I am suitable for exposed locations, windy areas and coastal planting
- I will thrive in full sun to semi shade
- I am happy in most soils but prefer soils that are well drained and thrive in sand
I am a hardy native shrub with very attractive 4 petaled white star flowers produced predominately through winter and spring but are sometimes seen at other times of the year.
My leaves are blue green with a furry texture and are rounded in shape.
Compact and very adaptable I can be clipped to a low maintenance topiary or hedge but maintain my screening density if left unclipped.
Very hardy I am a great choice for exposed locations, coastal conditions, drought and limey soils.
I attract birds and insects.
