180mm Delphinium Guardian Blue - Delphinium elatum

I am an impressive perennial with tall, blue flower spires produced in late spring with repeated flowering throughout summer. My flower stems are sturdy allowing me to be enjoyed as a cut flower in your home. I am equally suited to being planted in a pot as I am in the garden. I especially look good in cottage-style gardens. My flowers will bring butterflies, bees, and other pollinating insects into your garden. I prefer a a full sun to part shade position in humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil. To keep me looking my best, remove my spent flowers at the base. Fertilise me in spring to encourage repeat flowering, mulch me well and protect me from snails.
