The Zamiculcas zamiifolia is native to Eastern and South Africa. This tropical new variety is commonly called Jungle Warrior. A herbaceous plant growing up to 60cm tall, from a stout underground succulent rhizome. The Jungle Warrior is drought tolerant due to the potato like rhizome that stores water. The leaves will turn a purple-black as it matures. Due to its watering storing nature you don't have to water your Jungle Warrior very often. Allow it to completely dry out between watering. For your plant to thrive, position in bright indirect sunlight however, it can do well in low light levels too.
