140mm - Tulbaghia Border Star Starlet

One of the select varieties in the Tulbaghia BORDER STARS range - Purpose bred in Victoria, Australia to impressively meet a wide range of trying climatic conditions. This very hardy, clumping Tulbaghia has fine grass-like foliage and is ornamental year round. T. 'Starlet' is long flowering - from spring all the way through to late autumn so the beautiful shell pink flowers can be enjoyed nearly year round. Very easy to grow, and extremely low maintenance. It’s so tough, you can simply run over the plant with a lawnmower or whipper snipper, and in just a few months it’ll be back in full leaf and flower. Pruning, however, is not generally required. The plant provides a solution for every corner of the garden from mass planting, edging through to a mixed garden bed. It can be used in a wide range of situations from large scale water efficient landscapes through to containers in a small courtyard in full sun.
