Trachelospermum asiaticum is also known as the yellow star jasmine and the dwarf star jasmine. It can be grown as a ground cover and also a climber. It is quite hardy, withstands frosts and coastal conditions, full sun to part shade and has minimal water requirements once established. The small creamy yellow, highly scented star shaped flowers are borne during the warmer months of the year.
