- Red fruit in summer
- Low maintenance
- Self pollinating
Strawberry Guavas are a useful addition to gardens. They have masses of white flowers in summer and red fruit ripening in winter. Their fruit tastes like a passionfruit mixed with strawberry.
Growing into a large shrub, or small tree to 3m, they can be clipped into a hedge, espaliered against a wall or grown into a stand-alone feature.
Strawberry Guavas are frost hardy, drought tolerant and can be grown in full sun or part shade.
