Growing to only about 30cm I am a small Hebe with glossy green leaves and purple flower spikes from late winter through spring. My flowers while unscented put on a very colourful show over a long period.
I attract pollinators including butterflies and bees making me the ideal plant to include in pollinator friendly gardens. Plant me close to your veggie patch to encourage beneficial insects.
My small size makes me an ideal choice for growing in a pot or other container. Garden planted I am well suited to a variety of garden styles from formal which I can be used as a low hedge as a border or to help define other garden areas to rockeries where I am a low maintenance option to add pop and colour.
I tolerate frost down to -5C and am drought tolerant once established.
