I am a trailing perennial with green, slender, twining stems with small oval leaves and a proliferation of lilac-blue trumpet shaped flowers during in all but the coldest months of the year. My trailing habit makes me useful cascading down walls and banks and great in hanging baskets and pots. I am hardy in a broad range of conditions and soil types rarely affected by pests and diseases. This makes me a good choice for exposed locations, hot aspects and dry conditions.
